Course Description
An introduction to the mathematical skills and techniques used in business or in preparation for M.B.A. coursework. Designed to provide a solid foundation in probability and descriptive statistics including: measures of central tendency, probability distributions, correlations, and regression and statistical hypothesis testing as well as explore basic math principles in the context of business, economics, budgeting, statistics, and probability. Emphasis will be on applying these principles to the study of economics, finance, mathematical analysis of investments, decision making, and other business applications.
